About Al Amira

Our interest in Arabian perfume came before the business. We kept discovering fragrances with real character and perfume houses with much more to offer than the few bottles most people knew. We wanted to bring those brands to a wider audience and give customers a better way to explore them.

That remains the idea behind Al Amira. Someone arriving with a favourite fragrance house should be able to discover more of its collection. Someone new to Arabian perfume should be able to start with a scent they already enjoy—fresh, floral, woody, sweet or warm—and find their way from there.

Arabian perfumery has enormous variety. We want the shop to reflect that breadth and give each brand room to be understood on its own terms.

Choosing what belongs in the store is personal to us. Our own interest and judgement start the conversation, but we also pay close attention to fragrance community discussions, customer feedback and independent reviews.

We consider what a perfume brings to the range and whether it offers customers a worthwhile choice. That might be an established favourite that continues to earn its reputation, a new release people are excited about, or a lesser-known fragrance we think deserves more attention. We make the final decision on what we stock.

Our range includes houses such as Afnan, Ahmed Al Maghribi, Arabiyat Prestige, French Avenue, Khadlaj, Lattafa, Rasasi and Reef. You can explore them through our perfume brands.

Every perfume sold by Al Amira is a genuine branded product. We source stock directly from manufacturers and through approved distributors and wholesalers. Each product page identifies the house that makes the fragrance.

We also publish guides to perfumes with similar scent styles. Those comparisons describe fragrance character; they do not change the identity of the product. A perfume from Afnan, Khadlaj or Rasasi is sold as a product of that house, with its own name and details.

Perfume is difficult to judge from a photograph. We give customers several ways to explore the range, including shopping by scent and product information covering notes, concentration, bottle size, scent profile and strength where available.

Our Journal goes deeper into brands, collections and individual fragrances. It brings together buying guides, reviews and comparisons for customers who want more detail before choosing.

Fragrance remains personal: the same perfume can smell or perform differently from one wearer to another. Our descriptions and comparisons are there to make the options clearer, so you can decide what appeals to you.
